Default Need a good body shop

Hey just as the title says, i was recently hit by a falling object from the sky..( i still think its a meteorite lol ) and i need a body shop thats good and ppl trust to get my car fixed. the ins. Co. listed me like 3-4 blue ribbon shops like paintmasters in potomac, Congressional Autobody. and they had 2 others but i know nothing really about good body shops since all my previous body work has been shoddy and i hate them. any ideas? i live in bethesda but i dont mind driving a little bit , dont throw out places like off 95 or nothing now..somewhere from like gaithersburg, down to falls church is like the max distance id go. so far i have an apt with paintmasters..if someone has used them before and can vouch for them i might stay with them. let me know guys. my poor car hasnt had a serious ding or accident in 2 years..and now meteorite..G-D hates me lol

go to Autodent care on randolph road right by the train tracks. they've worked on my car 3 times now and have done excellent work every time. and i'm sure they will give you the lowest price of anywhere else you ask around. they are also the official body shop for jag/bmw/mercedes/land rover around there.

my insurance company licensed congressional also but they sucked ass. trust me, just use Autodent.

I highly recommend Wagonworks in Alexandria. At the begining of May a deer ran into the side of my car. Right front fender, door, hood, lower rocker and windshield damaged. You cannot tell to look at the car that it happened.

Excellent work and attention to detail. An example; my shift knob has been turned 180 degrees with the shift pattern backwards since I bought the car 2 years ago. Tried to fix it but got too much resistance from the knob so I said screw it. They noticed it and fixed it. This was not really accident related but they caught it.

They are on Route 1 near Potomac Yards. Phone number is 703-684-2985. Ask for Rav. Tell him Jonathan with the silver S2000 recommended them.

Good luck.

I forgot, insurance companies do not like them. But they do great work and in my instance the insurance company paid all but $280.00 plus my deductible.

I second Wagonwerks. The only places I would even consider are Wagonwerks in VA and EuroPro in Gaithersburg. Europro was started by two ex-Wagonwerks employees. Very $$$$ but MUCH better work then your standard patch and spray shops.

International Autobody on 14720 Southlawn Lane in Rockville is good. I've been there twice already. The number is 301-424-4474.
