I am in Richmond, Va and recently got a CEL for misfiring cylinders. More than one. I just replaced the spark plugs tonight and still have a slightly rough idle. I will get the check engine light diagnosed tomorrow and cleared to see if it comes back. I'm guessing the ignition coils need to be replaced. Anyone locally able to assist me with testing coils?

Misfiring can cause by bad spark plug, bad coil pack, bad EGR valve or even bad Cam sensor. Double check with engine diagnostic code!

How many miles? Have you done a valve adjustment?

Update: about a week and some later since I did spark plugs and cleared the light. Code hasn't come back yet but its still a slightly rough idle.

Car has 71k miles, valve adjustment has not been done yet.

I had a CEL due to the valves needing to be adjusted. If you do adjust them, go over them multiple times before putting everything back together

If that's still not it I have a couple extra coils laying around if you make the trip up.

After you the valve adjustment let me know if the rough idle continues I have coil packs In my garage. Probably we can work something out.
