lol wth , is that annie next to your car ? he just bought a sub box/sub from me and wants to hook it up , i dont think he got an amp or amp kit but that would be all that he needs then of course the install

Yeah, I tried that. Ended up having to make a very small cut in the rubber grommet in order for it to fit. I can't remember off the top of my head the gauge of the wire, but it was thick.
As for running the signal and power on different sides of the car, I understand that the signal is only going to the HU. What you don't want is the signal wire next to the power wire due to the extra electric "noise" that can be produced from the electric wire.
Therefore, I ran the signal wire down the drivers side and the power wire down the passenger side.
I also forgot to mention. Make sure you have a fuse of proper size and make sure it is installed LESS THAN 18" from the battery. The closer to the battery the better.

my brothers giving me his 12000 watt amp from his Z, im really trying to get it done tomorow, a shop told me 95 for install, like 40 bucks for all wires and then dynamat. i dont mind payin around 2 to 300 just want it done tomorow, ill be heading out to the shop around 12 or 1, if u can help me with the install and go with me to buy the wires let me know before then, thanks s2kkyo for the beautiful sub. If u can do it tomorow give me a text before 11 am so I don't go all the way to arlington. My cells 571 426 8641-and please no late night booty calls after midnight!! Jk....
