All the fluids are really really easy if you want to save some money.

This is the first car I've ever owned and worked on and I was able to change the tranny, diff, and engine oils using only printout DIYs from S2KCA (lol, there are probably good ones here too).

Let me know if you find a good deal for a valve adjustment. I'm at 102K miles and I haven't had that done, but they don't seem that noisy.
thank god my engine isnt noisy at all, but i figure might as well get it done before it does. Im gonna agile tonight and see how much they charge!

I have never worked on cars before (guess it's cause i didnt really care for my previous cars). But after I got my s2000 with 80k mi and knowing previous owner did not take care of the car AT ALL (no vtec )... I was determine to bring this car back to life. And what TopGear said... Changing fluids are REALLY REALLY easy. As easy as doing an Oil change. Saved me bunch. Did my own spark plugs, rotors, brake pads, vtec solenoid, map sensor and o2 sensor. Also did trans, diff, clutch, oil, and brake fluids. While doing clutch fluid, found out that my Clutch Master Cylinder is leaking. Will have to do that myself soon. All easy process. There's DIY everywhere. Valve adjustment is not a major thing. Not sure about the gear box. You should definitely think about it. you will know your car a bit better after, trust me.

honestly I like working on my car(Naomi) myself! I really dont like other hands on her but I recently had surgery so getting under a car or really doing anything with my right arm is out of the question for another few months. Id like to get this one out of the way and hopefully once im all recovered Ill start doing things myself!
