Default My new Blue 02!!!

I just picked up my Blue S2000!...

Traded in my white/red for this beautiful blue/blue. At first, i was a little scared about the all blue inside, but once you get in, it is nice. I saw the red on the 02 and man, it is way too much.

West Broad gave me the S2k at MSRP and a fair amount on my 00.

I wish i could have talked them into giving me more, but they are going to install my HKS and give me new front speakers since they didn't want to spend the man hours rewiring the door on the 2000.

Now is the painful part of waiting for the breakin cycle to be over with and i can start cruising with her.

The gear shift is soooo much smoother and i don't near the clutch grind. I like how they added some accents to the trim.

Great Dave! Never will have anything bad to say about the white...but it'll be nice seeing another blue around Richmond. The other "blue owner" won't ever seem to come out and play...

Definitely hurry up and take care of that break-in period!!! Remember, just 1 mile...and then another...and then another...and before you know it...Outer Banks Tyme!!!!!

Congrats!

Holy freakin' Chihuahuas!!!

Congratulations Dave! Nice to have another '00 owner into an '02! I think Honda is selling all the '02's to '00 owners!

Enjoy it man and I can't imagine your pain waiting for 600 miles. . .hmmmmm, I think I'll go VTEC for you right now!

Word I got from VA S2K was that Dave did swap his rims (ie. he kept 'em).

Honda swapped my wheels, they will install my HKS exhaust once i find the time, and they are actually going to buy me a new set of front speakers. They didn't want to take out my sony's in the 00, but when Advanced installed it, they cut the harness and the grill, so Honda didn't want to spend the man hour swapping them, and since that was part of the deal, they said they will buy me new ones and pay for the install. Sounds like a great deal

on a bad note, i did notice a scratch on my driver side piller. I don't know how it could have been scratched, unless when they were detailing the car, something scratched it.

Who knows...

If all of you want to Vtec for me that would be great. I am dying to feel the power, but man.. this is killing me.... how you guys with the 02's ever manage to do without Vtec

Congrats dkhl on your new ride!! I have to agree, the subtle improvement they made are very nice.

Do you have your HKS exhaust yet? I am expecting my HKS exhaust (bought it used from Luder94) to arrive today or tomorrow. Do you want to try and install them ourselves?

i didn't drive my s2k saturday, and sunday, i acutally had to make an emergency stop at patient's first sunday afternoon after one of our basketball players ran into the pole.

installing the exhaust ourselves? well, it all depends of i have to do anything but simple bolt on.

Since Honda said the installation of the HKS was part of the deal, i might want to take them up on it, and if anything happens to the exhaust, i can always take it back to them. I have to look at the box tonight and see. I haven't opened it yet.. but i will keep you posted.
