To each his own, I guess.
I'm a firm believer in the little things making the biggest difference. I should have more stuff coming soon. Stay tuned!

I went to Daytona Beach for vacation last week and saw something very interesting---a sea turtle nesting!
Turtle pics taken from the 8th floor balcony of our hotel. This is a Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kemp's_ridley_sea_turtle) which is the rarest of all sea turtles in the Florida area with fewer than 1000 animals estimated to be living.
While there seems to be a bunch of people around the turtle, most of them were from the Florida Conservation group charged with protecting the turtle population. Because this particular species is so rare, almost all of the conservation folks came to our beach to see this one.
She spent a total of about 3 hours on the beach nesting. Once she was on her way back to the sea, they measured and weighed her and got a blood sample. Then they cordoned off the nest, marking it with caution tape and recording the exact GPS coordinates. I am hoping the hotel posts updates on their website when the hatchlings emerge, about 90 days or so from laying.

A while back, one of the Delaware Valley members posted up an opportunity to purchase some LE-1605 differential gear oil as part of a group buy. I purchased 5 quarts, thinking I could use some in my G37xS diffs, too. The order arrived in the Winter time so it sat for a few months until last weekend, when I decided to do a fluid change. The old stuff was Mobil1 75/90 and came out pretty clear with some sediment in it. The LE-1605 is a dark purple color. I re-read the DIYs just to refresh my memory and dug in. I warmed the new bottle in some hot water and had no trouble pumping it in. I did have a fun time getting the old crush washers off the plugs, though.
Put everything back together and took her for a spin and WOW! What a difference. I had also changed the transmission fluid (OEM Honda) and the car just felt a whole lot better to me. It seemed quieter and smoother.
Very pleased with this LE-1605 fluid.

EDIT: Link to pics: http://s984.photobucket.com/user/dwb.../S2K/New%20Top
Went to NJ on Saturday to get my new top installed. Jeremy (2poor2mod) had my car completed in just under 4 hours---a true pro. Thank you again, Sir!
To review, my top was the original top. It had the normal wear spots, plus had gotten worn in a number of other places, too. As if that were not enough, the vinyl window had split. I purchased the Robbins Haartz Stayfast canvas top in black with the glass window conversion (no heater).
On to the pics:
Old top pics
One of my repaired areas coming apart
New top getting ready to go in
