Trans fluid: GM Synchromesh Friction Modified
Other than what Skip uses and OEM (make sure you're getting the right stuff if you go OEM ) Redline makes a Tranny Fluid that is awesome

I just switched from OEM to Redline and cold shifting is like churning hot butter now. Before the car was totally warmed up first and reverse were a royal pain to get into, now it just slips right in

All of my Honda technicians think the Redline fluid is much better than the OEM stuff. I'm sure they'd say the same about GM's stuff (heard nothing but good things about it). Another interesting thing is to introduce a technician to LE-607 - this stuff truly is off the chart amazing and your technician will love you for it!

Where can I get these fluids?

EDIT: I tried to find GM Synchromesh once for my EG6/h22 but was unable to find it..

The S2Ki Marketplace sells both, but the shipping is - the Marketplace has better deals with different levels of S2Ki memberships.

You can get the LE-607 from Rick. You can probably grab the part number from the Marketplace and then shop around for the Redline.

You get it from Hardtopguy. That was the purpose of this thread to begin with- to let folks know they missed a great opportunity to get highly discounted prices AND free shipping.

I just saw where they were offering an additional 10% off their i-net prices.

Just got off the phone with Jeff. Joe will be bringing down LE-607, GM Synchro FM, oil filters, and cabin filters. I would encourage folks to consider purchasing some of these items, even if they're not for immediate use.

In that case I've now added certain fluids instead of $$$ to the Alex & Dave charity fund
