Ugh, I did a quick weight in this morning to see if I was maintaining this week's weight loss. I've been 247/248 all week but yesterday and today I'm 250. No telling what tomorrow will bring.

Keep up the good work guys!

For those that haven't tried I'd highly suggest looking into weight watchers. If you follow it and don't cheat I don't see how you can not lose. I did this the last half of 2013 and lost nearly 30lbs. Its not the most fun thing in the world and there are basically foods you can never eat again but it works. Unfortunately I've found about 15 of those lbs back. I've been trying to be good on my own and drop them but it's not going so great.

Pizza is far worse than anyone thinks. I don't think I ate Pizza the entire time I was doing the program. The other thing you quickly learn to do without is salad dressings and mass quantities of condiments. I will also add that a burrito bowl from Chipotle was by a long shot the most diet friendly place I could eat out. Good thing I love Chipotle.

I will say though that I felt much better when I was doing this. I'm giving myself a couple more months to see what I can do and if I'm not seeing the results I want I will likely do it again.

227.0 This morning, not as bad as I feared, but I'm not down as much as Saturday.

No doubt you can lose weight with weight watchers its really just a fancy calorie counting program, but I don't think its very sustainable unless you stick with it for life. That said, I am terrible at keeping the weight off because as soon as the contest ends I usually stop exercising and eat everything. Going to really try to not do that this time.

And you're right. What helped me the most was it helped raise some awareness to the things that are really bad and allow me to make better choices. That said as soon as I stopped doing it and basically stopped being so careful about what I ate. It was really the holidays this year that did me in.

There were a few things that I found weren't nearly as healthy as you'd think. Salads are a great example. If you're going to smother it in ranch dressing you aren't doing yourself and favors.

I'm searching for something I can change myself without having to keep track because it definitely is a hassle. I'd rather just learn to make better choices.

I've found too that eating is what made a more significant difference in weight loss. I tried the no change in diet workout like crazy route and all it does it take up a lot of free time. A good diet was far more effective with some moderate exercise on top.
