Our church secretary is looking for "hot rod magazines" to fill requests from 32 soldiers serving in Iraq. Anyone with any current or old magazines to share? Email to make arrangements for us to get them so we can give them to her to ship. Thanks!

 

Sharon, next time you all are on your way to your mom's, stop by and pick some up here. I'd even offer to hold other locals' magazines until you come get them.

 

Would it have to be "hot rod" magazines or would stuff like old Import Tuner magazines be acceptable? If they are I should be able to find a lot that I have from the past...

 

If you accept tuner mags, I have some I'd give up. I don't have any hot rod stuff though.

Skip, Sharon's mom will be coming up our way Easter weekend, I think she could stop by and pick some up. Thanks, for offerring to be a drop off point.

 

I'll be at VIR that weekend. She'll have to hook up with Janet if that's going to happen. How far is she off the freeway? I'm headed down late Thursday or real early Friday morning.

 

She is about 45 minutes off the highway and I would not want you to take the truck and trailer that far off coarse. It would be easier to stop by your place. We'll work it out. Thanks for your help!

No problem, Mike. Remember, I was one of those guys overseas in Desert Storm. If I'm not mistaken, I first read about the NSX over there.

Other Mike, maybe some folks could meet here at the bowling center on Friday night- make a mini-meet of it.

 

Skip, that would be a great idea! I could drive down right after work (I get off at 2:30, now that I am a government worker) and would love to hook up with everyone.
