Default Lunch in the Newport News area?

Longshot, but does/can anyone want to meet up for lunch tomorrow? I'll be at Custom Car Care getting my alignment on the S2000. A couple of members have offered a floor Monday night, however, I believe I'm just going to rise at the crack of dawn and roll down. Besides, parking the trailer somewhere usually requires a wee bit o' planning.

Appt is at 0800. I have no idea what time it'll be done. I'm hoping they can check a couple little things for my peace of mind(i.e. I had to pull the arms in on the Gendron swaybar). I could possibly go a little farther eastward... maybe Hampton area.

LOL ok.

ur gonna turn right out of CCC and take george washing highway (the road CCC is located on) down to teh corner of victory and george washington hwy. ur take a right at that light and go all the way down to where u hit the corner of jefferson. take a right at that light ( the corner of jefferson and oyster pt, victory turns into oyster pt right after the overpass). once you take that right, you are on jefferson. make a right @ chedders. follow the parking lot to red robin. right behiond red robin is quiznos.

362-1336 is my number, just ask for EJ (asking for hannibal king sounds weird sometimes)

Sorry, but I can't be held to a schedule. If things go quickly, then I can't see hanging around for a couple of hours only to sit in mo' traffic. If it runs longer because Brady can look at a few add'l things, then I will be around longer. Both the late notice and me not being able to commit to a schedule makes it difficult to plan a midday lunch.

Feel free to PM me phone numbers so I apprise whomever of my timetable.

If it's not a super secret setup, what kind of alignment are you getting? Even though you are my competition this year, it would be good to share our limited knowledge with each other.

</endMileHighClubbing> aka MHC <-- That's when you highjack and a thread at the same time

No problem, Tom. I don't see you as my competition- meant in the best possible way. We joke and everything, but I'm really just trying to improve my own skills. If, at the end of each event, I feel like I improved in at least one area, then

Honestly, I do not know what I'm going to end up with. It'll be based on what the car actually has in it right now. I know what I told the local guy to put in the car, but I am not sure what the ending numbers actually were. I have a feeling that I may not have had the best possible one. This is why I choose to drive a couple of hours to this other shop, Custom Car Care. I'll be more than happy to share.

Most likely I will suggest a bigger difference between front and rear camber settings this time. The new tire setup 245/45/16 F and 255/40/17 R is more front tire than I've run before.

Time to leave.

Yeah, I know were not competing, but I'd be interested to hear how your car runs with your setup. It does not seem like there is a consensus yet on tire sizes and alignments, so it fun to problem solve
