Lowered Seats
Hey Mid-Atlantic. Checking in this forum to see if anyone has lowered their OEM seats with the BYS seat rails that are for sale in the Group buy section. No one in the Del Valley responded with having them. Just seeing if there is anyone south of me that has them and what they think.
Thanks
Thanks

I have one for the driver's side and I love it! I am a pretty big guy (6'4" and 200 and way too many pounds) so I need every inch I can get. I also installed a Safety21 roll bar in my car.
The seat rail does what BYS said it would do. The car is much more comfortable and I got back almost all of the room I lost to the roll bar.
The piece is expensive but, for tall guys, it is worth it!

Thanks WhrDLMI. I'm 6'4" as well and about 200 lbs. So I may have the same experience. I have 34" inseam. How about you?
Perhaps we can meet up one day. I'm up in Delaware, but down in Frederick from time to time with work. Realize Harpers is a bit farther out there. How far is it from Deep Creek Lake? I'll be out there on vacation in July.

Mr. Hyde,
I have the driver's side also and I love it. I'm only 5-11, but my legs were always banging on the steering wheel when I tried to heel and toe. I can even see stop lights with the top up now. Well worth the cost!

Frederick is about 30 to 40 minutes from my house. I get up there fairly regularly. Deep Creek? That is pretty far away... A couple of hours minimum. If you wanted to stop by on your way out, however, that would work. Just give me a heads up! I am also, of course, willing to meet you in Frederick sometime. We could do lunch, perhaps.
Trust me, though, once you sit in it, you will want one. Save yourself the trouble and just order one now.

Gentlemen, I will look to take you up on your gracious offer. Thanks. Let me look to see when I am down that way next, or heading out there for vacation. Thanks again for everything, and seems you both are very happy with the mod.

I've been talking with Bullet Proof. They only have 2 rails left. I may send a friend of mine over to meet up with you. Let me check with him and I'll let you know. He works in Fredrick and may be able to jump down there.
