Hey guys and gals: I need to buy a car or 2 over the next few weeks. I do not want to go the route of local dealerships (am looking in the private market) so I am hoping that I can reach out to the S2000 network here in hopes that some of you (or people you may know) can help me out. I would like to go to Mannheim but I need someone with a dealer's license who has access / membership to the auction (and other auctions, if appropriate). I would gladly pay the person $500 cash just to have me shadow them and bid on my behalf. Do you guys know of any such person that would be inclined to do this ? By the way, the cars that I would like to get are nothing to get excited about: a late model Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable for my dad, and a Chevy Tahoe or equivalent.
