Looking for any referrals to Jewelers in the area
So I'm ready to take the plunge
Wanted to see if anyone in the area knows of (or works at) any good jewelry stores in the Baltimore/Washington Metro area that has great quality stones at great prices. I'm shopping around and looking for the hookup.
I already have been to a few around Baltimore but I always like others feedback.
....and please, for those of you I'm friends with on Facebook, please do not post anything on my profile because Kim doesn't know I'm actively searching, though she's been wanting me to do this for a while

I've also heard the diamond exchange...in Bethesda?......has good prices.
Good Luck and Congrats!!!

James Allen.com hands down.
#1 Online shopping = no pressure
#2 Do your research. You will get a better quality diamond for less money than local jewelry stores.
#3 You pick the diamond (with actual pictures of said diamond) and then choose the setting. This allows more savings as well.
#4 Top notch customer service. My future brother in law had an issue with a ring he ordered and the owner of the company overnighted a different ring to him and gave out his personal cell phone number to make sure everything went smoothly.

Do you know anyone who is in the jewelry business? If so.. you can bypass all the retail outlets and hit up the wholesale joints. You can pick up a stone and setting for a huge discount...
if not.. online is a great way to go.

Congrats. I'm just saying if I can help you out, my dad is actually a graduate gemologist. He does this stuff all the time (i.e diamond rings and much more) out of our house. But yeah, if I could be of any help i'd be happy to check with him (he likes the car and would be happy to work with a fellow member Anyway GL.
