My only complaint about the resent postings has been echoed in this thread already, but I want to reiterate it with my thoughts.

I don't mind the whoring as long as it is not in event related threads. For example the Shark2000 thread or the First Quarterly Mod thread. I was interested in both events, but keeping up with the thread became a chore with zero payoff. Pertinent information was buried and lost in chit chat.

I think the model event threads are those of the Outerbanks Run and Wake the Dragon/Dragonball. I look forward to checking new posts on those threads because I know it will contain relevant information. Usually the posts are announcements of attendance, questions, and updated information about the meet. In other words, instant gratification with minimal sifting through side conversations.
