Sorry this is driving me crazy....

WHY BUY A CONVERTIBLE AND DRIVE WITH THE TOP UP?

Just doesn't make sense. Unless it's raining. And then it better be raining hard.

I'll sometimes drive with my top up on the way to work, since I don't want to mess up my pretty hair plus my commute is about 2 minutes. I also won't drive with the top down if I'm going for a really long drive and it's very hot out.

Yeah some of those are legit reasons for driving with the top up.. But I'm not really talking about S2K's anyway. All the ones I've seen on the road have the tops down.

I see more Miatas' and BMW Z's than any other with the top up.. people in em don't look like they're goin to work.

As far as sweat stains....buy a better deodorant!

Yeah I see a bunch of Z4, 3, and 3XX series... or even the rare M3 with the top rarely down... Jags always have the top up and so do CLK's or SLK's... The rare SL I come across always has its top down... Also top down list includes mustangs, sebrings, and old 300Z...

OH YEAH and S2000 ... WE love the SUN

Because they finally realize that the drop top may induce the formation of melanoma on their skin. They would take a hit in the pocket book if they traded down.

Buying a convertible means that you have the option of top up OR down. Sometimes, it's just too damn HOT (not to mention the humidity)!!
