Jobs jobs jobs
So... my wife discovered today that she may be getting let go, due to the never ending cuts in the technology industry (fun fun fun). She works for IBM as a consultant at the moment, doing backup/recovery (Legato), some DBA work (Oracle), etc.
She was in the military and has a good 9 years of tech field experience with all kinds of stuff.
Finding work right now is a royal bitch, and due to our current situation, if she loses her job, I'm royally ed.
So... anyone have any job openings

IBM is soooo sh!tty. Sorry to say but I worked for them as well. It was back in college...I took an 8mo coop job in raleigh, NC. When I graduated, I expected for them to have a full time position all lined up for me but no, the entire manufactuing (I worked in special bids for the world wide engineering division) sector had gone overseas...where its cheaper to china, india, and mexico. what a f-ed up ending! Then, again when I was graduating, I had IBM in the process of making me an offer as a consultant in northern va....it took them sooooo long to get back to me so I finally called them and was told that the position was not available anymore. They werent even going to call me and be courteous enough to give me a heads up....screw IBM seriously. I used to like them but they f-ed me over, not once, but twice...tell your wifey to work for someone better because they are absolute sh!t to me now. sorry bout the rant but....phew, that feels much better.
