We have a storm coming?! Have to check Weather.com
I am totally in for any Metro/V St. activity. Last Saturday I was swarmed by a pack of 10 cars clearly up to no good (Supra, Integras, VR-4s, etc.) on the Beltway headed in that direction.
They were all looking for trouble and going somewhere together around 12am. Could have been at either locale. Why don't we set a place to meet beforehand so we can travel together. If it sucks we can go elsewhere.

Just a little info.. V St. was shut down. A police station was built right there.
I haven't been to either spot in a looong time, so I don't know the state of affairs at Metro. My friends have been going to some spot near Arundel Mills mall recently. I've been told it's similar to V St.; cops sometimes show, but only watch to keep people out of trouble.

V Street is absolutley not shut down. I have been there recently on multiple occassions and I can assure you it is in full swing. I have passed the police station at high speed and there has never been a problem. In fact, the police often congregatae with the cars at the "start" to talk. If things get out of hand, they flash their lights and people disperse.
In fact, I would say that it is more on than Metro because Maryland State Police partrol there regularly and have even resorted to having water trucks spray the road to discourage racing.
