Yeah, that's probably not a bad idea. But are you planning to pick up an NSX immediately after you sell your S2000?
I'm looking to get one right now. I just can't find the perfect one. Parents aren't too keen on it. they said I would have to clean out the garage because they wouldn't want the NSX or S2000 outside.

Well - after several conversations with different friends and hearing how much they are paying I got fed up and decided to call around to get a new rate.

Here is a bit of information on what I am currently insured with :

AllState -
Coverage of 100k/300k/50k
Deductibles of $1,000
Monthly Payment $530.95

Wednesday evening I stayed a few hours late at work, speaking by phone with both AllState and Statefarm to see what I can do. Statefarm has pulled my credit and driving record, here are my new rates :

Statefarm -
Coverage of 100k/300k/100k
Deductibles of $500
Rental Reimbursement of $500
Monthly Payment $170

Also, when I turn 25 yrs old in 2.5 months my payment drops to $123 a month.

Needless to say, Monday morning I have an appointment with my local Statefarm rep for new insurance! All of this is with Full Coverage on a 2001 Acura NSX.

I have called many times to verify this, everytime they have told me everything is correct!

Congrats Before I bought the S, I called around for insurance quotes. I couldn't believe Geico's offer. I fully expected to pay over $350/mo, as that's what all the online quotes said. After the rep. quoted the price, I half wanted to keep my mouth shut in case it was a mistake, but I was so intrigued I had to ask him to reverify my information. I've been a happy customer ever since.

It's so strange how inconsistent premiums are from one company to the next. I guess it all depends on how they view the statistics. For me, State Farm quoted a premium 2.5x greater than Geico's.

There was a little flyer inside my last USAA auto insurance statement advertising "sharing" USAA with friends and family. I don't know how long this promotion has been around, I've never seen it before...

Ask anyone and they'll pretty much tell you that USAA has the best insurance rates for renters and auto. They also offer credit cards and checking accounts with debit cards that reimburse ATM fees.

If you're interested in getting signed up with USAA, PM me your e-mail address, as I will have to send you the invitation via the USAA Web site.

HOLD YOUR HORSES...

I'm unsure whether they still require service and/or relationship status, the ad doesn't specify...hmmmm. A couple folks have asked to be invited so once they get some feedback I'll update here.
