Me, oh, around $6,200 a year..

All the cars in my sig, and the one that puts the screws to me is the Civic. Daughter hitting and damn near killing a COP on a motorcycle, and $500,000.00 later............ rates kinda went up..

That was 9-11-2000 and my record has only one small ticket over the last 30 years... and minor stuff on wife and daughter, since the accident. They are still sticking it to us.

Calvin James couldn't even come close in the rate. I think they have an insurance database that tells them about the OLD shit...eventhough they are suppose to only go back three to five years, but this was 6+ years ago????

Go figure.

In 2000 I was involved in a not 'at-fault' accident.
In early 2002 I was involved in an 'at-fault' accident, causing several thousand dollars of damage to my vehicle and state property.
Late 2003 I was given a ticket for speeding, 82 in a 45. In February 2004 I was convicted of 19mph over speeding.
In February 2004 I was pulled over for running a red light (Valve Adjustment Day FTW). In April 2004 I simply paid the fine by mail.

Insured through Calvin James @ Allstate
24 Years Old
Not so pretty record.
2001 Acura NSX
Full Coverage
$1,000 Deductibles
I pay well over what anyone else in this thread does, by far

In early May I turn 25 and all my tickets should fall off my record. My agent has asked me to call him on my birthday - he said that my rates should drop quite a bit!
I'm 22, my last wreck was when I was 17 or 18, bad weather, head on with a telephone pole at 35 w/o a seatbelt. 1 speeding ticket in montana around age 18 for 95 in a 65, was 20 bucks cash on the spot(why I love my home state) and two tickets in texas on the same day in diffent counties that added up to 500$.

While I was living in italy, I was quoted over 7000$ a year for full coverage on my Integra which was somthing like 600+ a month. I didnt have anywhere near that much so I went with liability.

Now that Im home, I pay 98$ a month for full coverage for my s2000 and libility for my Teg. I believe it pays to be at least 3 years ticket/accident free. I use USAA.

Just got off the phone with AllState. If I had an NSX and I was looking to be a first time customer to AllState, they wouldn't accept me along with Statefarm and Progressive.

- I don't feel bad anymore. Well... my agent did tell me, "We typically don't insure this type of vehicle." when I added it.

Yeah, that's probably not a bad idea. But are you planning to pick up an NSX immediately after you sell your S2000?
