In 2000 I was involved in a not 'at-fault' accident.
In early 2002 I was involved in an 'at-fault' accident, causing several thousand dollars of damage to my vehicle and state property.
Late 2003 I was given a ticket for speeding, 82 in a 45. In February 2004 I was convicted of 19mph over speeding.
In February 2004 I was pulled over for running a red light (Valve Adjustment Day FTW). In April 2004 I simply paid the fine by mail.

Insured through Calvin James @ Allstate
24 Years Old
Not so pretty record.
2001 Acura NSX
Full Coverage
$1,000 Deductibles
I pay well over what anyone else in this thread does, by far

In early May I turn 25 and all my tickets should fall off my record. My agent has asked me to call him on my birthday - he said that my rates should drop quite a bit!

Compared to the NSX, the S2000 was dirt cheap.

01' NSX with $1,000 deductibles is more than twice as much as a 00' S2000 with $500 deductibles.

Just commenting on prices Mr 102 year old... though I do like the annual call from the insurance agent on my birthdays, I just want their best price!

State Farm.

My jeep is 350 bucks every 6 months, the S2k is 550 bucks every 6 months and renters insurance is 60 every 6 months.

so, complete coverage for all my shit $160 a month

27 with nothing on my record.
they look at college grad. good grades if your at school etc. my father was a safe driver so he passed that on to me as well.

so keep talking to the agent. theres alot of little things that lower your rate.

I can offer a piece of advice... I used to roll with Progressive. I called them to tell them that I was shopping around but I wanted to give them a chance to keep my business. They re-wrote my policy and I ended up with a much lower rate. So... I stayed.

It might be worth a try for you to do the same.
I had the exact opposite experience with Progressive. They raised my rates significantly twice despite having a clean record. The explanation they gave me was "it's very expensive for us to do business in Virginia". I got my insurance cut almost in half by switching to Geico and I will never do business with Progressive again.

FYI I pay ~160 a month to insure 3 cars, the s2k, my wife's maxima and an old isuzu rodeo. The s2k and the maxima have full coverage. I'm 39, my wife is 33 and we both have clean driving records.
