I would call State Farm, and see what they can do for you. I've had them since I was 16, always on my own policy, and never had any problems. I've had a few accidents (not all my fault), and a few speeding tickets in the past, and I only pay $110/month for full coverage on my 03 S2K.
i find this hard to believe. not calling you a lier or anything but i've had state farm since i was 16 also, i have a 00 s2000 and i pay 258 a month full coverage. 3 accidents that werent my fault and a speeding ticket of me doing 4 over from 2 yrs ago. what type of discounts are you on? are you a student driver?

That's $1320/yr or $660/6 months. That's not unbelievable. With discounts and such I pay less than that right now. There are WAY too many variables that go into figuring an insurance rate to compare between two people that live right next door to each other, much less in different parts of a state or different state. Even experienced agents are surprised by changes - as was mine when I moved closer to DC and the rate dropped.

For the age, i think it is. $110/month with full coverage on an S2000 being less than 25 years old, yes.

Gieco was the cheapest @ $241/month with me being 17 (now 21) with a completely clean record.

I jus turned 25 in October, and thats when my insurance was renewed. I pay 125 a month, but that is with 15 a month for life insurance included. I also havent had a ticket/accident in over 3 years. Also, my parents have used State Farm for atleast 10 years.

No need to change, just call them and tell them you received a better rate and will be switching unless they can match or beat it. They will gladly comply.

Also get a cheap beater and throw it on your policy liability only as your daily.

I pay 750 every 6 on my s2k and expedition with Geico. Im 22, clean record.

I don't know about it but I do know people using Esurance and they are saving considerable amounts of money a month. I don't know anything about them regarding claims and customer coverage. I personally have USAA and 3 vehicles fully covered for $105 a month.
