That's what's really puzzling. I figure the driver did it either out of stupidity or spite.
I told the story to my 75-year-old father last night. I was surprised when he said I was kind and that I should have let the air out of the other car's tires.

It's amazing how even when you park as far from other cars as possible against a curbed spot like that people see at as "Oh cool, there's a lot of extra space in this parking spot, I'll hog it all so I can still manage to ding his car with my door! "

Also, why is it that when you go out of your way to park WAY away from other cars (and usually all possible destinations as a result) some asshole in a shitty car comes and parks right next to you so close you can barely open your door?
