395 N approaching DC in the evenings is clear. in the mornings, it's bumper to bumper. 395 S leaving DC in the mornings is clear, but in the evenings, it's bumper to bumper.
i'm lucky enough to have a job that is out in Alexandria, yet i live in Arlington and therefore i can drive against traffic. takes me 25 min for ~12 miles, but if i were driving with everyone else, it would easily take an hour or longer.

At least until the King St exit there is quite a bit of traffic.
I sometimes stay with my girlfriend who lives in Alexandria and there's always traffic in both directions up until 11pm or later. I work in Dumfries and go through that corridor 3-4 times a week anywhere from 5pm to 8pm.
That's petty though and not the real reason I posted. I posted to ask you to reconsider driving school for this ticket. You're probably just wasting more money. Call your insurance company and make an inquiry as to their policy. I doubt they would raise your rates for this. Who do you have, BTW?

It can't hurt to call them. Only save you about $75 and 6 hours of your time.

I live in dumfries and i work in potomac soon/temples hills now MD. Traffic is bad everywhere at all times during the day for me. I've gotten -13 points in 7 months 2 reckless driving tickets with the same judge letting me off the hook dropping the charge to improper driving. Tint twice in the same month, drifiting twice within a couple months of each other, exhaust twice, red light, no front license plate, dead tags suspended license out of state in MD got arrested for that one, clear corners in the m3, smoked tail lights in the m3. The mid-A does not play. It saves money to obey the law I haven't gotten a ticket for a year and a half i've matured since. I've paid thousands of dollars in fines/tickets i could have used for more mods. New years resolution no tickets. And for some reason i ALWAYS use my signal haha even racing.

Probably very true. There's been many studies about red / yellow or other bright cars getting as much negative attention as they do positive.
