yeah rota's arent "cool" enough for s2000 people, but in reality, they are decent quality wheels for cheap. Maybe not the lightest, but they work.

its seems the whole "volks" and "work" wheels are really getting over played on this forums, not everyone can afford to get $$2000+ wheels.

Im not telling anyone to buy expensive wheels!

but seriously, if your gona upgrade your wheels there are better options than 25 lb knock offs. IMO.

some say 1 pound of rotating mass equals 4 nonrotating.

so say 40lbs = 160lbs = 6% increase in performance...
This is an extremely simple way of putting it, but 6% of 200 wheel horsepower = 12...
Saving weight is huge, especially rotating weight. Your acceleration, braking, handling, fuel economy etc increase with less wieght.

So be carefull with these heavy wheels... You WILL feel the difference.

Why buy rims that aren't as good as stock then (reffering to ap2s imo as ap1 stock wheels aren't all that) Work/Volk are quality rims lightweight and look good, we could go on about BBS and what not but those can be EVEN more expensive

I sure as hell can't afford volks right off the bat, its called saving for quality things you don't have to blow $1000 right away just cuz you can't save and wait for the right rims.

no, i agree volk/work/bbs are great wheels. I just think they are really over hyped, especially the volks, i guess they arent my style. Are they light and great quality, yes, at least i hope so, but id cry if id get me 3-4,000$ wheel chiped or scratched from putting them on and off.

I know nothing about the sterns, but from my expiriences rota, konig, ect usually dont make the heaviest wheels, maybe not the case with the wheel the OP, but in general they are usualy lighter then the stock ones, which are enkei btw, well the ap2's.

my point is, why do we have to judge someone, why cant they just buy whatever they want without someone saying something negative?

if the man wants to buy cheap wheels, then let it be so. Im sure he knows its not oem quality, he just doesnt want the "stock" look.
