haha, I'll be in town and have been "officially cleared" as well.

If you want, bring some water, maybe like a case of 24 or 32 or whatever is sold at local grocery store. Should only be like $6 lol

I already have antap2 and rude bringing liter of soda

if anything, gorcery store is like 3mins from my house and we could make a quick run for stuff.

Only if you want filtered spring water to grace your S2000.

HELP!! does anyone have an OBD2 reader? I kno you can slice wires and tap them together and get the CEL to flash but thats not my style and I dont want to hack up my S. But this morning my S threw the CEL on right at start up. I has never came on before. It still drives fine and sounds normal, no smoke, no nuthin. The base garage wants $70 just to plug their reader in and tell me whats wrong. Just seeing if anyone wants to lend me their OBD2 reader for about 10 min. Ill pay to use but I hope it wont cost me $70.

Damn! What are my tax dollars doing for this country, if they're not helping a service man know WTF is wrong with his car?! That seems out of sorts that the base garage would hit an active that harshly in the wallet .

That it 'drives around fine and sounds normal' indicates you're driving on an unreviewed CEL, huh? Can't say that's the wisest thing to do (but then again, I have a piece of black electrical tape squarely placed over that idiot light on my dash presently ...so I'm no prize on that account -- but I already OBD2'd my problem with my local Honda tech ). Really would suggest you get it checked out before driving too much. Could be as simple as a loose gas cap after recent fill-up. Then again...could just as easily be no oil pumping...who's to say?

Check it, and quickly

I'm sitting on the fence as to whether to come or not. It's a bit of a drive from NoVA, so I'll see how I feel Sat morning. On the other hand, every excuse is good enough for me to get on the road

Never been to Va. Beach (or even the area), so I hope TomTom will get some info as to where to go

I don't plan to do anything on my S, but I'm happy to lend my two left hands to whoever needs help (and signs a waiver beforehand)
