Rollbars that stay behind your seat shouldn't mess you up in an accident right? I do have real roll bar padding on them too. I would go to a safety specialist the next time I put caging in my car to figure out correct harness angles and structural design for it. Who cares about destroying your interior, I'd rather be safer.

I am heading back out west when I leave the army may 2010 so I may just autox and wait until I get back out west to get some real track time in...I just really don't like autoxing.

Autocrossing isn't bad, it helps you memorize tracks, pick lines, and if you get bored, you can always try a little oversteer control practice. Just don't spin out towards the cone workers or they'll all run away screaming.
