If i was worried about passing emissions, I'd rather wait for AEM to release their piggy back system before looking at hondata. I had a hondata on my previous car and really liked it, however this one seems stupid expensive. The AEM piggy back is supposed to be considerably cheaper and still offer a good amount of "tunability" to support FI applications. From what I know, AEM is aiming for it to perform better and offer more versatility than the e-manage, so it will be interesting to see what comes of this new piggy back system.

Oh and it isn't supposed to cost anywhere near the AEM EMS so it will be cost friendly too.

I think this is great, I had the Hondata #4 reflash on my RSX-S and loved it...

Naveed, is AEM's piggyback going to be like a vafc2 but with more tunability? If that's the case, how are they going to stop the oem ecu from reconfiguring the part throttle mappings?

I love this, it gives us owners a choice as to what we want to run... IMO the EMS is complicated and requires too much attention (being a full out programmable ecu) with Kpro you get all the normal functions of a honda ecu + you can tune and datalog... That deserves a in my book... Want to run EMS? go ahead, want to run the AEM "Vafc2" go ahead, want to run kpro? go ahead, all three are viable options.

AEM EMS > Kpro just because of price.

I think with the AEM EMS in knowledgable hands, it can outpower the Kpro.

From the link:
OBDII scan tools work normally. Smog station scan tools may be confused. Note that the S2000 KPro is not smog legal, and for off road use only.
