they dont have any in suzuka or bb, def not going to pay 3500 just to have to re paint it.

for reference it just cost me about $330 to get my top painted and it came out great! I couldn't be happier with the quality of job I got.

They come painted from the factory, and they only have a select few left. I called a few months ago for a suzuka blue and they said only two were left in the country. Plenty of yellows.

Not anymore. Honda stopped making new hardtops for some (or was it all?) colors. I don't remember the exact details. Since the hardtop is an accessory, and not a part, they aren't required to keep them in stock now that they aren't making the car anymore.

I just tried to check on htg.com, but I can't even find where he lists hard tops anymore. Does anybody have a link?
