Hardtop Options - looks and cost
#11
I have a mugen rep hardtop, when I first got it I tried to wrap it in vinyl, bought the products from rvinyl.com. Great product btw. I tried twice on my own and it came out crappy. Its crazy hard to heat, stretch, stick, and reapply as you go. I went down to a shop in Springfield where they do vinyl wraps, they tried and failed. I spent about $300 in total on wasted vinyl. I decided to paint it at Maaco around the corner from the vinyl shop and it came out great.
I suppose if you find a better place that does vinyl wraps let me know because I do like it and wouldn't mind doing the sides of my hardtop in carbon fiber vinyl. Its currently painted silverstone.
