Steve...I swear "all things are possible" and it certainly seems to me that (as any one of those parts) could be defective, etc., they can be got/replaced. As such, I just wonder if you'd do yourself the favor to get with Honda directly and discuss the matter. I mean, what time/effort you put into this with them...with all likelihood a positive outcome if approached the right way, you could maybe get a super deal from the seller of the top sans parts because he won't have a buyer (maybe a sucker...but not a buyer).

Surely those parts can be purchased under the right circumstances...

Oh, I haven't given up hope, and the hard-top certainly isn't going anywhere any time soon, so if I can find the parts, we're still in business!

In this thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=82852

Would the missing parts be included in
"add 199.00 if you need kit-c"
or
'add 199.00 if you need kit-a"?

If I understand it correctly, the "kits" are for certain model years with certain VINs and are basically a replacement center console and some other pieces. The hard-top (sold separately from the "kit") still comes with all the other parts and it's these parts that I need.

There may be someone who can help, however. There's a user called "Hardtopguy" who says he may be able to help. I'll keep you posted!

Yeah, if you have a MY2000 with a VIN below 5830 or something very close to that you need to also purchase the kit. However late MY2000 as well as MY2001 do not need the kit. Oddly, MY2002 requires the purchase of the kit too, which runs somewhere around $200-$250

AgS2K,
Glad it looks like it will work out for you. If you don't for some reason end up taking it though. Please PM me with the contact info for the person selling it, ok? Thanks!
Larry
