Wow. Congrats. Is it sinking in yet that you just bought a house?

I'm happy to have pulled the trigger, but I'm soooooo not looking forward to the mortgage payments

The movers show up Thursday, so once everything is in I think it will sink in more.

Deb - congratulations

My closing date is in about 3 weeks and it still hasn't really hit me that I am going to be buying a house.

I've already forgotten what color the kitchen was when I went appliance shopping.

I think it took me a full two or three months of actually living in my place before it really sank in that it was *MY* house. If something broke, I didn't get to call a landlord or my parents or whatever. I had to fix it. heh.

Are you going to rent out any of the rooms? I did that at first, and it definitely helped off-set the mortgage payments.
