Regarding a Blinking CEL..
Suely, we don't have to add that, regardless of anyone's "armchair diagnosis" offered here...you should not run a motor with a blinking CEL...right?
Only offered with ...not trying to come off like a jackass

Sounds like the common MAP issue to me. Mine did something similar. Gave it the whack and cleaned it out with a can of some compressed air. Haven't had a problem since.

I'm not sure about spark plugs / coil packs. It would be too coincidental to start randomly misfiring on all cylinders at the same time. Do the MAP whack trick, if that doesn't work clean it out, clean your throttle body, and then we can worry about the next step.

Misfires are determine by monitoring crank speed, the computer knows the firing order and the crank sensor indicates the begining of each rpm, it can then monitor rpm loss and calculate how much loss and which cylinder. A type a misfire is 90-100 power drop, 40-90 percent loss will usually set a type b misfire. THats why we can have a slight misfire and feel it but the computer doesnt pick it up.
So can you drive it? Sure, damage might occur to your converter though. thats the risk you take.

Mine out of know where had misfire cylinders too - swapped injectors and that solved my problem. Might not be yours but it's easy to find out if you got a buddy with a S2000 close to you.

Well the problem is solved. I drove down to "Xzibit A"/ Scott's work today and he checked everything for me. We changed the spark plugs, air cleaned the MAP and the Throttle body, and the car is running normally.
Still need to run some 44k through it though. Soon enough.
Thanks for everything Scott. Can't wait for the warmer weather so we can go to meets and drives.

Glad to hear it was nothing serious. I had the same issue last week. After 4 days of panicking it was just a bad coil pack.
