My mistake! Didnt know that thread was viewable by 'Patron's' only, sorry.

It's a thread about a couple guy's on Vadriven, that have been selling S2k seats extremely cheap, and it's all been happening in MD.

Copied and pasted Dave's orginial post in that thread...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This dude selling '06 S2000 seats for $400 is either out of his mind or they're stolen.

http://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=203033

Searching through his posts I found his "cuzin" has put two maybe three sets of them up for sale:

Two pairs in this thread:

http://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196952

And one pair here, also bargain priced:

http://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=199855

I checked s2ki and there seems to be a problem (in the Silver Spring and Rockville areas of MD specifically) with seats being stolen.

I'd like to see if we can squeeze some contact info from these two since they never post it up in their ads like they should.

Everyone else: I'd like to not scare them off before we have some more info on them so let's not rui their threads.

if this was me, and i knew his NAME "AND" WERE HE LIVED........he would be missing some teeth and the seats he stole from everyone!! go kick this kids ass seriously, if you "are sure" that those are you guy's seats, go get them.....arrange a meeting time with this guy and tell him you've got some guys that will take all his seats of his hands for asking price as long as he delivers them to a disclosed location....when he shows up with "YOUR" seats....take them, or you could always just say "dam, another pair of seats gone again, oh what are we going to do?"......im glad nothing has happened like this in HR...Im sorry if im coming off like an ass whole, i just dont like seeing all you guys shit being stolen, i know it sucks. best of luck guys on recovering your stuff

i edited this post because i actually stopped and read all the links to VADRIVEN.....and it actually pisses me off!!!! "yo, my boy has some fresh seat fa show son, fresh fresh fresh...." he sounds like a young gangster wannabe! once again, im sorry this is happening, and i cant believe im taking this so personally.

I thought someone made a seat-lock similar to wheel-lock. Can anyone find out about it?
Sorry to here about your Seats DOM.

I'm sure they make some sort of specialty bolt that could be used in place of the normal hex head bolt

Don't count on it.

I saw a Blue S2K for sale in one of the Florida sections once. The guy had black seats in it because the blue ones had been stolen. The insurance found some salvaged black seats and plopped them right in.

Talk about an ugly sight!
