Realizing seat locks would prevent someone from being able to take out the seats, wouldn't a thief already have to slash to top and get into the interior to find that out?
And would an aftermarket alarm prevent this at all?

As for an aftermarket alarm - an alarm is only a deterrent. It doesn't prevent crime. They can be worked around, and if these thieves know what they are doing, it only takes a few seconds for someone to disable an alarm. I think, though, that a proximity sensor in the cabin would provide the most protection for this sort of thing... either that, or an electrified top

that sux, dom. sorry to hear. I really would feel uncomfortable parking my car here at home. I guess I'm glad it's staying with my dad, locked in a garage.
Aaron: don't give your home address. Offer to meet them somewhere public, nearby... Like a gas station or shopping center parking lot.

I'm going to have to start doing that. I don't want to seem shady to a legit buyer though.
FWIW, I think this is a VERY good idea...

Send a PM to Kodokan4 about the McGard locks.
I'm also working on a deal that would allow us to invisibly tag our seats but provide 100% infallible proof that the seats to law enforcement officials. I'll keep everyone updated...
