Default Getting dirt out of carpet/floor mat?

Hey guys, I went to RFK last night and even after I specifically told my friend to wipe off his feet this morning I noticed he tracked alot of dirt into my S, its all over the floor mat and the carpet before the floor mat. Can I get that out?

How does going to RFK last night have anything to do with your friend wiping his feet this morning?

And yes, it'll come out. You have a couple of choices. One would be to scrub it out by hand. Another would be to get a smaller steam cleaner for your car(s).

Thats what I was going to say... The floor mats can just come out, and you can clean them easily, but for the carpet you can just get a small steam cleaner as Skip said...

Oh, LOL.. Sorry im so mad I dont think my post made much sense.. The lot was pretty full and we had to park in the grass, so we had to cross some mud to get to the car..

If I want to scrub it out by hand do I just use regular soap and a towel??

Yup. And keep blotting it out/dry. You don't want to grind it into the carpet or else you run the risk of cutting the pile. Try to use more of a "lifting" type of motion.

Or buy an automotive-sized steamer since this incident is going to drive you nuts.

Soap and water will work just fine for mud. If its a stain, a carpet cleaner will work, like Oxyclean!
