As for gas stations inflating their prices, I remember a huge crackdown on that in the state of Florida this year. I also have to listen to reports from my mother and sister who live in the Tampa/St. Pete area.

I don't know if I should be glad or sad that I just increased my tank size by about 5 gallons
Kinda tough to go from a fill up in the S for $30 and now I'm seeing $50....but at least I've got the same MPG.....somewhat......maybe not with my lead foot

^not me Insight - give me a Prius - if those are my only choices.
Of course, I wouldn't buy any of those damn hybrids. For a comparable Civic LX Sedan, that gets 38 MPG and better acceleration, it would take me over 8 years to start seeing the $$$ payoff on buying the Hybrid.
Tax write off - that lasted a long time
