I'll be moving into my new home on October 22nd and I have a 3 car garage floor that I want to paint. Can any of you recommend a good epoxy paint for the floor? I know I can get the basic grey concrete paint at lowes, but I was hoping for something with either a color or 'chips' in it.

Check out the threads over on autopia.org about garage floor painting and alternatives (niice looking interlocking tile, for example). Apparently with the paint, it's ALL about proper prep.

I considered this too before I moved into my new house but I just didn't have time. Although I hav eno experience with it, I liked what they had to say about their paint at Griot's: http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=90011

As was just mentioned, prep is the key. You'll need to get the floor spotless then etch it with muriatic acid too. Of course you dont have to do this, but you'll end up like my neighbor that has to touch up the tire spots in his floor every 6 months.
