I actually bought a 1995 240SX in good condition for $500 this year.

Now if you read what he posted, he said "that thing needs a lot of shit" also translated into that thing needs alot of things to put it back on the road. He just offered what HE thought it was worth to him. I'm sure he didn't mean it to be offensive. All you had to say was no thanks to his reply and let it go, but instead you go and insult him because he has his list of mods in his sig? Great, you scored a good deal on your 240. That's a good price for a good condition car. Does that mean all 240's are worth $500? No. I bought another 240sx for $200. I'm not going to offer a guy $200 for another 240 just because I got one for cheap.
Please remember that I'm selling a SHELL. NOT a running and reliable car. Whoever wants to get the car back on the road will obviously have to do some work. Don't state the obvious and mix it with a low balling asking price. My asking price is already adjusted to compensate for that fact.
Now, if I seriously offended anyone, then I'll be the first to say I'm sorry. I'm just trying to sell a car and I'd like to offer to the S2K community.
Please, lets stay on the topic of my car being for sale. If the mods want to delete some irrelevant post, please do so.

And I'm sure we all understand that the deal I got a 1995 240SX for $500 was a deal. But mine was in running condition! No, I'm not comparing my deal to your deal, but since you want to state the obvious then I will compare.

Heres a link showing my car's value at $1825 in fair condition. Anyone that has seen my car knows that it's in better condition than "fair." Since it doesnt run I'll knock off $500. That makes it a $1325 car. Thats only $25 shy of my asking price. And my car doesn't need work interior or body work by a pro like KBB says.

I've never been on a forum so strict and unforgiving. But if the forums rules state that I can't sell my car, then let it be. Follow the rules, go by the book and delete this thread. It's ok, I have other sources.
