Has anyone heard of or visit this place? Their S14 with 2jz swap was featured in Modified mag recently, and so I went to their site and checked it out. Seems like they are fairly new (I could be wrong) and looks like their main jobs gear towards turbocharged cars...

But anyone know anything about them? about an hour north of NOVA so I might want to get some work done from them in the future.

I have no experience with Freed; this is the first I've heard of them. Their 'about' page says they've been around eight years.

It's a small shop but they do good work. My roommate took his 97 Supra there to get some things worked on and they did a great job. They had some pretty serious FI cars in the shop when I rode up there too. The guy who was there that night was super knowledgeable and very helpful to my roommate. I think there's only like 2 or 3 guys who run the whole shop.

 

Hmmm I wonder if they are knowledgeable with S2000's
I don't remember anyone here getting anything work done by them... if they've been around 8 years, I would think at least few S2K's would have come by?

 

They do awesome work. Ben owns/runs the shop, his younger brother Billy works with him. Some of the cleanest cars around this area come from them. The custom fabrication they do is the best in the business.
