We're going to meet at the National Park Service HQ in Fredericksburg on Lafayette Blvd. 10AM, I believe, but I'll talk to Ken to make sure and one of us will post up later.

I'll also post the route for the drive.

Says it is limited to 20 people, do you know how many are signed up now? Sounds like a nice drive.

My +1 and I will be there around 9:30 to meet the early contingent. We'll be at the National Park HQ on Lafayette Blvd. in the parking lot in the rear. The weather this weekend is supposed to be mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 70s. Sounds like top-down weather to me. Ya'll come on out. We'll tour the battlefields, we'll eat Allman's barbecue and Carl's frozen custard and we'll drive some nice twisty roads. All in all a great way to spend a Saturday.

You're right about that. Not only nice but great scenery, and some super nice curves. I'm sorry I haven't been able to get down that way more often.

Come on down and don't worry about it. If there are too many cars for one group, we'll just divide up into 2 groups. The area around Fredericksburg is great for driving.

I plan to be in the lot @ 9:30 and we'll try to start @ 10:00. I'm working on the driving instructions, so PM me if you'd like a copy. I'll also print some out and have copies at the park HQ.

If you all want some outstanding breakfast sandwiches and great coffee, you should stop in at Tickers on Rt3, east of the I-95 on the north side. Tell Pablo you're car friends of mine. My wife(Janet) used to work there. He's a car guy, too. I believe he has a C2 Corvette.

I will probably stop by to say hello to everyone before heading to work.

How long do you have to work on Saturday? Can you make lunch at Allman's?
