Default Finally got my s2!!!!

Well all, after 3 years of being an observer on this board, I can finally have the pleasure of owning a new s2000. I purchased the s2 on the 29th and have been absolutely ecstatic!! This car is my dream come true. Nothing but positives from friends, family, and strangers!! It is definitely a head turner and I couldn't be happier! I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who has helped me with questions and w/ dealer info, car info etc!! This board rocks!! Hopefully now, I can get the chance to meet some of you all!

One question that I did have...I just bought a new '02 with 12 miles on it...do any of the TSB Bulletins apply to this car? Should I take the car in to have those done? Just wondering...

Thanks

- Andrew

Welcome! Three years is a long time to wait..I lurked here for three months before buying mine, and it felt like forever. We'll see you on the road!

Possibly the Spark Plug TSB... That is identified through a VIN series...so either you could search the Spark Plug TSB threads (b/c I remember someone mentioning the numbers it covers) or call/stop by your local Honda service center & ask them to tell ya.

Congrats on the S2000! You'll love it!

Yeah most likely.

But whatever, no hard feelings. Congrats on the new S.

Congratulations! Welcome. I lurked around for about a year before I finally got my car and posted. And you're right--this board does rock! The knowledge base and people are excellent.

I just got my spark plug TSB in the mail, so I would bet you would need to get that looked at.

Enjoy it! I have had mine for almost 4 months now and I still get a thrill every time I drive it.

Funny you have a CRX too. Until the S2000 came out, there really wasn't any other car out there that I wanted (within reason--you know, under $40,000). Everyone says I'll probably be buried in my '91 CRX si. I still love it! Two cars and 4 seats.

Have fun!

Hey! I have the same set up - a '91 CRX (daily driver) and a '02 S2000!

I just bought an s2000, also. I, however, didn't find this site until afterwards. Had I known about it, I'm sure my first post (as this is) would have taken place some time ago! Also, I doubt my communications will be as polished as all of you veterans. Please ween me along! Congrats on yours... and mine!
