Funny, I was gonna start one of these threads myself.
Is anyone interested in starting a perpetual league? I've been running one for several years and I think it's a lot more fun when we can retain a core group for year to year.
A perpetual league would involve a franchise fee (should be around $10, depending on how much people play), and a little more if we choose to have prizes and such.
We could have a couple of Sunday meets during the season to watch the games together, etc...

What ever happened to the last one... did the winner get paid? No one ever said anything to me about it, I think I owe someone some money.

Yeah... so if there's any money involved, it needs to be collected up front. And in my league at least, there is a distribution of money... prizes for highest overall scorer, regular season winner, champion, runner-up...

Doesn't mean you can't play
We've had many people try it before without knowing a thing of football, but finish better than many veteran players.
They don't place first or anything, but lack of knowledge doesn't mean you'll finish last or anything.
