Fauquier County VA Reckless Driving
A good friend's 20 year old son got a reckless driving ticket in Fauquier county VA. I'm not sure how much over he was going, but it was enough for a reckless. Of course he didn't tell her right away - he was going to deal with it himself. He came clean with her today.
In any case, I think he'll be in need of a good lawyer. Please let me know if you have any recommendations. His court date is some time in August.
Thanks for your help!!
John

John, Janet works at a law firm in Fredericksburg. I'll direct her to look here and see if she can be of any help.
To the rest of you knuckleheads, Revenuer is one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet.

I was going 80+ in a 55 (and not even in my S, I was driving fast to stay awake..I know stupid) through PA and since I still had everything registered in FL the cop said he'd either have to take me to jail or I could follow him to an ATM, get out the $200, make out a money order and pay him. So I picked that option, but it seemed shady?

Make sure whomever your friend goes with, is located close to Fauquier General District court. You want an attorney that is local, and negotiates frequently with the DA's.
Reckless itself is a fairly simple and straight forward case. Most everything will depend on what his past history/performance is like... and what he was actually caught doing.
Where the attorney's value comes in is how well he knows the DA, presents his case, and negotiates with the DA (most likely based on the above).
