I was on my way to get my S out of storage this morning and passed two parking lots full of F1 transport trucks. I was surprised how awesome they were and went home to grab my camera. They were getting washed up. I got pics of my car 'near' three Honda trucks and took a bunch pics.... will post after work.


FYI... the trucks are parked all nice and neat at the corner of W. Ostend and Ridgely St in Baltimore. There are two huge parking lots across from each other.

 

F1 stuff in the US? Were they Indy transport trucks? Honda hasn't raced in F1 for a while.

 

Yeah, that's the Indycar team trucks and probably some ALMS team trucks too. Still, I'd love to see the pix. Are you going to the Baltimore Grand Prix this weekend?

 

^It has to be for the Baltimore GP which I believe is this weekend. It's just the wish they were F1 cars.

 

Is there still talk of F1 going to Texas?

 

Not sure of the exact 'label' for the cars but they are here for the Baltimore Grand Prix. They are definitely ginormus multimillion dollar transport trucks with sponsors all over each truck. The Honda/Target team trailers were awesome.

My favorite was the Ferrari tractor trailer with the yellow dancing horse sticker on the front fender under the wind shield. By the time I turned around, another truck/trailer pulled in a blocked the view; I only got the Dancing Horse on the trailer.

For those photography guys/gals, there are at least 60-80 freshly washed trucks/trailers out there.
