My car is a 06 with a little under 30k miles. I'm thinking that my factory diff bushings weren't too worn out as this wasn't a ground breaking change for me. I'd say if you weren't someone that picks up on small changes you probably wouldn't notice a very big difference. You might just think your shifting and throttle application got a bit smoother. Shifting does feel better and when you put your foot down you do feel the car start to go. Before I felt like you needed to wait for the bushing to deflect and then the power goes down. Now it feels a bit more immediate. It also feels a bit better when you let off the gas. I did feel like my rev matching was a tad easier too.

This was the first time I was really out on track with the car since doing all of my upgrades so it's hard to tell how much of a difference they made on the track. The car did feel good though.

Anything to tighten up the car is good to me so I'm glad I bought them.

About the noise/vibration this has actually increased enough for me that I notice it and it's fairly noticeable in 6th gear when around 60mph. I think some of what has done it for me is my clubsports have solid top mounts which will transmit a lot more noise
? To Summit Point?

No. It was the Driftwater event. You can usually find it on VAdriven. I went to one with my old s2k years ago.

It's a really open event which is nice and lots of driving time. This is a drift/grip event and the last few times they've run it it's been one hour grip then one hour drift alternating through the day. I think we ended up with 3 grip sessions for the day so could have been driving for a total of 3 hours. I probably drove for about half that time. Cost was $115.

No rollbar required, no instructor. The hardcore track guys probably wouldn't like how open/relaxed the event is but I love it. Not quite as safe as a real track but they've never had any issues and this was the 12th event they've had since early-mid 2009. If you're smart you take your time learning the course and slowly work at getting faster.

My biggest complaint about the site is the lack of runoff room and lots of bad drop offs depending on where you are on the track.

Steve, the noise that you are talking about, is it a faint humming noise like the on I described?

I wouldn't exactly call it faint Mine pretty much makes for a little extra noise/vibration all the time. It's very subtle but it's definitely there. I get the most noise when barely easing off the throttle around 3-3500 rpm. I really think the increased sound I have though is because of the solid mounts on the coilovers.

any update/reviews on this from those that recently purchased and put them on? seems like people like the feel but hate the added harsh sound?

I still like them and I'm glad I did them. I wouldn't say I hate the added noise from them. Doesn't bother me one bit. I was just commenting that it was noticeable to me having a stock exhaust and HT with gutted soft top. I'd honestly buy them again if I had a different s2k.

Ok. Mind was finally installed last Thursday with the help of Allen (HMFIC). Test drove the car a little that afternoon and it was apparent right away how the tires dig in to the ground right away. Drove it to work last Friday on a 50 miles round trip commute and it was a blast! My S has a renewed energy and more exciting to drive now, specially accelerating out of a turn.

Yeah the added noise is there at first but I don't notice it anymore after a while. My car is gutted in the back and with aftermarket exhaust it's never quite back there.

To sum it up, I love this mod!

^well put. That's how I feel about it. The noise is a tad noticeable but I think a lot depends how much interior you have and whether or not you have an exhaust. I also have solid top mounts on the coilovers and those will always transmit more noise/vibration than factory mounts.

Always down to help Uncle Ron! Glad you're enjoying them! One of my favorite mods as well!
