I'm doing a small track event Sunday which is why I really want to get them installed beforehand. Like Jeebs I also have a 100% stock motor so I'm expecting to hear more noise than someone with an exhaust.

Hey Rob, did you mean to say UTH or is there another thread in Racing and Comp that has a thread about these collars.

I thought the same thing when I read it.

^I think a lot of the guys running these are track guys who most likely have an exhaust on the car. From the way he's describing the noise I'd imagine with an exhaust you'd never hear it.

I think I might actually install mine tonight.

I didn't hear the noise right after I installed the collars since I did'nt reach highway speeds often. It was only a few days ago that I started noticing this sounds. Either way, I stand by the review. It is great for those that want a better feel.

I have read the original thread w/ the DIY and have other guys mention the sound but didn't think anything of it. I would still recommend that members spend their hard earned money on this product.

I didn't get around to do this last night. It didn't even cross my mind that I'd need to remove the exhaust to do this and I didn't feel like doing that much work last night. It's looking like I probably won't get these on before the weekend now as I've got to work Friday night and Saturday.

I got the rear collars in tonight and it was a piece of cake. It was fighting getting stock exhaust off by myself that took up all my time. It's always one last hanger that fights me. I hate how many the stock exhaust has but love it all at the same time b/c it doesn't flop around. I'll finish the front ones tomorrow after work and if I'm lucky squeeze in time to bleed my brakes as well.

I guess you didn't read my DIY, I did mine with only removing one hanger. Although you didn't have access to a fantastic helper like I did

What stopped me from keeping the exhaust on was the inability to get to the two bolts on the top side of the sway bar mounts.
