I can't remember who I talked to at Vex but I'm sure if there is enough interest, they would do it.

 

Ok so I just contacted Jesse @ Vex Motorsports about going a group buy and the check out this thread. Hopefully you guys get the gb and get some these collars

 

Nice write up Najib. I'm gonna finally take the plunge. VEX Motosports is local (Mac88, the guy who did the DIY is too), so I'll pick 'em up soon. I suppose if there are issues with the clunking noise, I'll sell them.

 

Just a heads up on the group buy thing and who is and isn't allowed to set these up.

Only a sponsor is allowed to setup a group buy on the site and since VEX isn't a sponsor your group buy will get shutdown just like mine did.

What isn't against site rules is to share deals, they do have a sale on these till the end of the month, just mention the gb in the bay area that got shutdown when you call.

 

As far as the group buy thing went I figured since most of us in the Mid-A know each other we'd just keep it hush and one of us could PM them and say we've got X number of people that want these what kind of a deal can you cut us.

 

In that case, for those that are interested PM me so I can atleast pass on a number of how many people want these. You have to be 100% committed to these since the gb price will reflect solid interest. I will convey the message to Jesse since I was the one that initiated contact w/ him.

 

I'm in. Pete's in too he just doesn't know it yet Now that the baby is about to pop out any day all he's going to have money for is little tinkering mods like this.
