Did you all take your exhaust off when you put them in?

I did but macr88 swears you can do it with it still on. With the exhaust off everything was more than accessible so it wasn't hard at all.

Gotcha....ill try to do it without taking it off. I dont think my exhaust will be that easy to take off.

Best way to take out exhaust is unbolt from after cat (3 bolts) and spray water on rubber hangers (3 or 4). Don't spray WD40 on the rubber hangers because any petroleum based liquid in it tend to soften the rubbers permanently; therefore, makes your exhaust dance around too much during high G turns.

Right tools and right sequence will make all the difference. Take about 2 to 3 minutes to look into the sytem and figure out your best attack.

Thanks. Im planning to take it to my friends garage, he has air tools not to mention everything else needed. I am hoping it makes a difference although I only have 37k on it. The aftercat should be easy to take off since I recently installed a HFC.

Yes, it was pretty easy for us. With proper preparation and correct tools, we were in out with in 30 minutes.

i think it depends on your exhaust. the resonator on my hks was right under the front right mount so there was very little room. i started with it in place, but i was getting frustrated due to the lack of space so i ended up taking it off. i should have just taken it off from the start.

I have a comptech exhaust...but I think I will have to take it off also. I think I'll wait to take it to my friends garage and have him help me rather than do it in my driveway.

Yeah, you might be right. We use 4 of the 3ton jack stand, two floor jacks, a power tool and a breaker bar. The S was on all four as high as we can can with all the tools laid out the in the side it took us maybe 25 minutes and some change.

Finally put these in. Holy moly what a difference. It stiffened up the rear end a lot, shifts are smoother, launches are smoother, getting on the gas is smoother and less jerky when letting off. All in all I am very happy with them and can feel a huge difference in the rear. My bushings were perfectly fine and the car currently has 38k on it MY07.
