I purchased the Motorola walkabout 355 last year. They have been pretty solid. I need to get a hands free mic for them though

Don't forget to bring radios or buy a set if you don't already have them. The radios will be very useful this season. Lots of drives are being planned!

We'll be using channel 4 for communication along the way.
I recommend these:

Midland GXT1000VP4 36-Mile 50-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (about $59 on Amazon)

and this headset.
Midland AVPH3 Transparent Security Headsets with PTT/VOX (about $18).

This will keep your hands free to focus on your driving.
I should probably pick a set of radios up for this and the Dragon. Are the security headsets significantly better than the ones that come with the Midland radios? Are they both useable while cruising with the top down?

The security headsets are the in the ear type and can be used top up or down (and they are better than the ones that come with the radios).

The ones that come with the radios hurt my ears.

We tested the entire route over the weekend!

For those joining us at Adam's County Winery, I'll need a headcount to let them know how many of us to expect. If you've already posted on the Facebook event, don't post here.

The Winery will host us for a wine tasting, with cheese and crackers, a tour, and a bottle of wine of your choice all for only $15!! If you've ever been to a winery before, you know what a great deal this is. A handful of members in the area have said this is one of their favorite wineries so you're in for a treat!

Put me down for one. I may or may not stick around for the winery. While I'm in the area, I may just go drive some of the roads that we use for the GGTG meets Fall Colors to see how they are now that Winter (may possibly) be over.
