I recommend getting a Porter Cable. As for products, go to the wash and wax forum and take a look in there at to what might tickle your fancy. I'm personally not a big fan of Zaino but many members swear by it. I use Sonus, Griots, and Meguiars.
Thanks Peter. I'll check it out. What's the damage on one of those? EDIT - just saw that it's about $150.

Dont buy a Snap-On buffer, I made that mistake.....$300 later. But it has made me some money by paying for itself

sure thing. always down for some polishing.

In case anyone's interested, I'll be there purely in an assistance capacity because I dig detailing and keep my own cars pretty well maintained. I'll have various brands of products from my personal stock (some of which I may be willing to part with as I pare down my collection) and PC and rotary buffers and pads.

is tom making the beef? not that I eat it, but that's a draw in and of itself...

I'd be willing to pick up the coffee and pastries again if folks want to chip in

Only if you behave yourself and don't do burnouts in the parking lot. At least you should not need the NAV system this time.

I can give you some pointers Bill.... Just as last time, Ill probably be claying and doing three coats once again.

I haven't waxed (only washed & detail spray) since the last wash and wax and my car still beads like I waxed it yesterday.
